List of bands/artists that use 8 string guitars

Alright, so I composed this, partially out of boredom, partially because I am tired of seeing threads on so many forums titled "bands that use 8 strings", etc etc. The list is in no particular order, just the bands or artists I find first go up first. I might change it into alphabetical order later, if i get the motivation

Legend:
First line: Artist
Second Line: band
- red bands: bands that the artist plays in, but does not use 8 strings
- blue bands: bands that only partially used an 8 (for one song, one effect, etc)
third line: model of 8 string
fourth line: tuning(s) used
last line: any additional info

Tuning legend

I found a wiki page saying that the band has experimented with and used them, but have yet to find much evidence.

I like this. and I am sure there are way more. Hell one that I know of was Jim Root for the Nightmare revisted track I think. at least there was a video of Jim I think playing one while John Davis was recording his vocals.

As for Korn.....I see your point lol

I'm sure they are more people that play 8 strings also, I cant think of any that you haven't already gotten though

slipknot uses 6 strings i thought...?
and korn used 7 i thought...?

yes. but for tha recording jim root i think was using the rg2228. also as for korn munkey does have a rg2228 as well. as far as i know he hasnt used it on any songs though
